Birthday Party FAQ
When are birthday parties held?
Private events are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Friday evening parties may be available with advance notice and the availability of the party room. For smaller parties, we offer a mini package for up to 8 children that allows private use of our party room while the playspace is open to the public.
What are the maximum number of children at a party?
There is a maximum of 8 children for mini packages.
All basic, classic, deluxe and premium packages include 12 children and can add up to 23 children.
How long is each party?
Each party is either 1.5 hours or 2 hours long, depending on package. Extra time can be added on. Upon arrival, the children are checked in, remove their shoes, and enter the playspace for free play and partying!
Are there extras that can be added to parties?
Absolutely! We are proud to have a fantastic vendor list of local, trusted businesses with whom we work with often. From face painters, to photographers, to the most beautiful costumed princess North of "The Happiest Place on Earth", you name it, we can point you in the right direction.
What themes do you offer?
We are proud to offer some of the most stylish parties this side of the Hudson! Our popular themes include: circus, city zoo, farm, firefighter, pirate, princess, super hero, trains and cars, vintage western. What is your cancellation policy?
A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to book every party or private event. Upon paying the deposit, you agree to the terms and conditions of the HHP party agreements which include full cost of party charged when a party is cancelled within 14 (fourteen) days of the booked party date. To avoid the full cost of party charge, we must be given a 30 day cancellation by phone and you must receive an email confirmation from our staff that your party has been cancelled within the 30 day time frame.
Is outside food allowed for adults?
Additional pizzas can be purchased for adult guests and added to your invoice. Hudson's also offers a pre-fix catering menu from a few of our neighboring restaurants. Hudson's House of Play is a *NUT FREE FACILITY* therefore outside foods must not contain any nuts whatsoever.
Are children allowed to be dropped off for birthday parties and private events?
A responsible adult must accompany and supervise every child during birthday parties and private events. Hudson's House of Play will assume no responsibility for unsupervised children attending private events.
